Rachael Scdoris, four time Iditarod Musher, and her father/trainer, Jerry Scdoris, share their amazing Iditarod Sled Dogs with the summer tourists and residents of Central Oregon. Enjoy Iditarod memorabilia, sleds and other winter equipment. Join us for a summer sled dog ride on our comfortable dry-land cart. Stay and help Rachael with care and feeding of the dogs.
- The Scdoris' sled dog camp is located right next to the Mountain Gateway building at West Village
- Come early and enjoy an entire day on the mountain. Sightseeing tickets are also available - the perfect activity for field trips, family reunions, birthday parties and groups

WINTER SLED DOG RIDES
Add a wild, magical experience to your Mt. Bachelor get-away with a ride behind a real dog sled team! Stay snug and warm in the sled while the team, along with a professional musher, takes you on an exciting adventure.
Oregon Trail of Dreams is operated and owned by Jerry Scdoris and his daughter Rachael. Rachael is a world renowned athlete and had her first Iditarod finish in 2006. Riding with Jerry, Rachael and their athletic team of dogs is a unique and majestic experience. Imagine gliding over the snow, taking in the sights of Central Oregon - snow-covered Broken Top, the Three Sisters and Mt. Bachelor all from the comfort of an Iditarod Dog Sled.
All sled dog rides depart from the lower Sunrise Lodge parking area. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time to check in and meet your musher and sled dog team.
Children must be at least 3 years old to ride in a sled. Children ages 3-12 years old must ride with an adult. No more than 4 people per sled. Max weight per sled = 450 lbs. Prices are subject to change.

All bookings are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, you can reschedule your trip for another day or time during the 2016-2017 winter season without penalty. STANDARD TRIP PRICING
Approximately one hour of orientation and trail time, including an option to participate in the care, watering and feeding of the dogs after the trip. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

Holiday Dates: Christmas/New Year: December 17, 2016 - January 1, 2017; MLK: January 14 - 16, 2017; President's Week: February 18 - 26, 2017; Spring Break: March 25, 2017 - April 2, 2017.
Travel to Elk Lake and back (26 miles). Includes lunch (alcoholic beverages and gratuity not included). Trips are available Thursdays and Fridays only. Check-in time is 8:30 a.m. and the trip will return to Sunrise Lodge by 1:30 p.m. Marathon trips are not offered during the Holiday Dates listed above. No more than two people per sled. Max weight per sled = 350 pounds. Prices are subject to change.
