Interpretive Programs with a Naturalist from the US Forest Service!
Join a US Forest Service Naturalist for FREE 90 minute interpretive tours. Learn about winter ecology at Mt Bachelor and the geology of Central Oregon, the Deschutes National Forest watershed and the plants and animals found throughout the area.
Please dress for the weather; snowshoes are provided and no previous experience is required. We do ask that participants are older than 10 years old and wear snowboots and warm winter clothing.
When: Weekends from Dec 27 - Mar 29
Holidays: Dec 22 - 24; Dec 26 - 31; Jan 2-4; Jan 19; Feb 16; Mar 23 - 29.
Time: 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM
Where: Meet outside the Guest Services building at West Village
Cost: FREE, snowshoes provided
