Winter is back! We picked up three inches today on top of the three inches that fell last night. With snow showers expected throughout the evening, Saturday is looking fabulous! The stashes off the Rainbow Chair should be especially nice. And for those of you who prefer the smooth groomed runs, this new snow should till-in very well with the base underneath. Expect more than 40 miles of ideal corduroy in the morning!

This new snow has really refreshed the snow surface and turned the mountain winter-like once again, but remember that trees in many areas around the mountain have exposed rock and dirt around them that are covered up by the new snow. Coverage may be deceptively thin in places. We recommend staying out of the trees and in wide open areas, which are well-covered, until the snow gets deeper.

Even though the snow has returned we still need you out there doing your snow dance and really showing your stuff to mother nature! Check out our dances to awaken the snow gods and show us what dance you have been doing by tagging your media #mtbachelorstoked!

Update on Northwest Express lift: Last weekend, an output bearing failed on Northwest lift's primary electric motor. The motor has been removed and sent to Portland for repair. Northwest lift will remain closed until the motor returns, is reinstalled and tested. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Our snow stake camera is at the 6,300 ft. elevation in the West Village base area. The image updates every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. We clear the snow from the snow stake board each afternoon at lift-closing time so that you can see how much new snow will be waiting for you in the morning! Remember that the amount of new snow may vary across the mountain due to wind transport, settling and temperature differences.
