A Unique Summertime Experience
Chairlift rides at Mt. Bachelor are a summer activity the whole family can enjoy! Your ride begins at our 6,300 foot base at West Village Lodge and takes you up to our mid-mountain Pine Marten Lodge at 7,775 feet.
Take in the sights of Three Sisters peaks, Broken Top and the Cascade Lakes. Behold views of over one million acres of pristine undeveloped land. At this time of year, the mountain exposes ancient lava flows, wildflowers and year-round snowfields.
You may catch a glimpse of a pine marten while enjoying the different species of evergreen trees including Mountain Hemlock, Lodgepole and White Bark Pine. Seek out the snowfields left over from last year’s winter and enjoy a refreshingly cool moment.
Summer Chairlift Operating Hours
Open every day, seven days per week - July 4, 2013 through September 1, 2013
Open at 11:00 a.m. daily:
- scenic chairlift rides, sightseeing and hiking
- disc golf
- lunch at Scapolo's in the mid-mountain Pine Marten Lodge
- shopping at Bachelor Ski & Sport in the Mountain Gateway building at West Village
Last chairlift ride up is at 4:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday
Last chairlift ride up is at 8:00 p.m. Friday-Sunday - evening tickets available after 4:00 p.m. for access to appetizers and Sunset Dinners at Pine Marten Lodge

Mt. Bachelor offers day and evening ticket rates. Please note that evening tickets and dinner are sold separately.
Buy your lift tickets in the Mountain Gateway building located at the base of the walkway.

Summer Season Pass
Mt. Bachelor offers a Summer Season Pass available for use beginning Thursday, July 4, 2013 and can be used through Sunday, September 1, 2013. This pass will give you give you unlimited lift access for the summer season and is perfect for the disc golf fanatic or anyone who enjoys taking in the fresh alpine summer air! Summer Season Passes are non-transferrable.

Winter Season Pass Usage
If you purchased a Mt. Bachelor Alpine Season Pass for the 2012-2013 winter season, then - as a courtesy extra benefit - your pass may be valid for summer use!
2012-2013 Winter Season Passes that are valid for 2013 Summer Chairlift Rides:
- Full Season Passes (all ages)
- Midweek Passes
- Lifetime Shareholder & Board of Director Passes
- Employees who finished the 2012-2013 winter season in good standing
NOTE: All 2012-2013 winter season & employee passes have expired and were deactivated at the end of the winter season on May 26, 2013. Eligible winter season passholders & employees must "reactivate" their winter season pass and have it converted into a summer pass in order to ride the chairlift. To do this, present the pass to a Mt. Bachelor team member inside the Mountain Gateway building at West Village during regular summer business hours.
