Frequently Asked Questions
Buy A New Pass means that you will need a brand new picture-ID pass media card. Reactivate Pass means that you will be re-using the picture-ID pass media card that you already have.
Buy A New Pass IF:
- Your most-recently purchased Pass was a 4-Pack
- You have moved into a different age group since you last purchased a pass
- You have misplaced your previous picture-ID pass media card
- You are buying multiple passes in one transaction (for the entire family, for example), and if one member of the party cannot reactivate
Reactivate Pass IF:
- You possess a 12-Day Pass or Midweek Pass from this current 2015-2016 season. Yes, you can still reactivate a 12-Day Pass even if you have unused days on the 12-Day Pass. Our system will automatically wait to convert your 12-Day Pass into a Spring Pass once Spring Passes are valid to use.
As a result of a January 2015 Oregon Supreme Court decision, Mt. Bachelor is introducing a new "Express Assumption of Risks" agreement that all pass holders must read and approve with an online signature. This new language will appear on the back of all 2015-2016 season pass ID cards and we ask that all pass holders read it carefully.
Just because you're getting a brand new pass ID card this year doesn't automatically mean that you need a new picture, however. If you like your current pass picture and if it's not more than a couple years old, then we can use the same photo.
To save you time, we're introducing the option this year to have your pass pre-printed and ready for pick-up at Will Call. You can take advantage of this convenient opportunity if:
- You are OK with having your last pass picture on this year's pass
- You purchase your pass through the online e-Store.
You will be presented with this pass pre-print option during the online sales process. Visit us in the Mountain Gateway Sales Center.
All prices and dates are subject to change. All products are non-transferable and non refundable, even if the pass is never used or picked-up, except as permitted under the Season Pass Refund Protection Plan. Passholder's age on January 1, 2016 will determine eligibility for age-restricted passes. Mt. Bachelor, at its sole discretion, will determine the length of the winter season & the operating schedule. The planned winter season, from late November through May, is subject to change. All lift ticket & season pass products will expire after the winter season closing date. A pass is to be used by the official passholder only. Mt. Bachelor will be vigilantly on the lookout for cases of pass fraud in order to protect the investment of the vast majority of law-abiding passholders. Penalties, including fines, season-long or lifetime Mt. Bachelor access bans, and/or criminal charges will be assessed to both the fraudulent user and the consenting passholder.
Can I buy a Springtacular Pass over the phone? Yes. But we encourage you to purchase online - if possible. For those unable to purchase online, our Reservations team can process your Springtacular Pass sale over the phone. The phone number is 800-829-2442.
I am having trouble getting the E-store to work properly. How can I finish the pass purchase process? Please contact a respresentative at our Reservations Center, 800-829-2442.
Can I use my Gift Card to purchase a Springtacular Pass? Yes! There is a step in the online purchasing process where a Gift Card code can be entered. If you encounter any problems, you can contact our Reservations Center at 800-829-2442.
Is there a military discount? Not on Season Pass products, but there is a military discount on daily lifts tickets (except Saturdays & holidays).
Is there a spouse or family discount? No. Season Passes are all individually-priced. Mt. Bachelor strives to make skiing and snowboarding as affordable as possible for families by pricing the Youth, Teen and Young Adult Season Passes significantly below other comparable resorts' prices for those age groups.
I am buying a pass for a friend, grandchild, etc. How do I do this? You'll be able purchase these online. If it is for a new Passholder, the Passholder (or his/her parent/guardian) will have to sign a paper release form at the time of Pass pick-up. And the parent/guardian must enter his/her own information first during the online process. If reactivating a Pass, a signed paper release will not be necessary.
When does the Springtacular Season Pass Sale end? To get the best deal, purchase your Spring Pass by noon on Friday, March 18. Spring Passes will still be available for purchase after that time, but at higher prices.
When can I get my picture taken and where can I pick up my Pass? At the Sales & Service Center in the Mountain Gateway building at West Village. The Sales & Service Center opens at 8:30 a.m. every day.
What do I need to bring with me to get my Season Pass? Photo identification is required with proof of age; Passes will not be issued without one. Please be prepared to sign a release form. Children under 18 will need to bring a signed release or be accompanied by their legal guardian. We also require a birth certificate to issue the 5 and under Season Pass.
Can I wear my crazy cool wig/hat/fake teeth/sunglasses in my pass picture? Pass photos are intended for identification purposes so you will be kindly asked to remove your hat, sun glasses, and any witty costumes prior to your Pass photo. Your cooperation is appreciated!
