Seattle Skifever and Snowboard Show
The largest ski and snowboard show to ever hit Seattle! Come by and see your friends at MTB at the 42nd annual Seattle show. Huge savings on winter goods plus fun entertainment. Adults are $11, kids 6-12 $3, 5 and under are free. Show times are as follows: Fri from 1-10pm, Sat 10-10pm and Sun 10-6pm.

Ski for Schools fund raiser
  A fundraiser to benefit the Education Foundations for Bend-La Pine and Redmond Schools will run from November 30 through December 4, 2009. The event is in its fifth year but this is the first time it will be held for a week rather than a single day.
Skiers and snowboarders are urged to purchase a $20 Ski for Schools ticket and then redeem it at Mt. Bachelor any one day during the Ski for Schools week for a single day lift ticket. Tickets for the event will be on sale starting Friday, October 30th through Friday, November 28th at the following Central Oregon locations: all Mid Oregon Credit Union locations, Skjersaa’s, Powder House, Pine Mountain Sports, Side Effect, Twenty-Eight, Zydeco, 4 Season’s Recreational Outfitters (Sunriver), all three Redmond McDonald’s locations (Redmond only), Jody’s Drive-In (Redmond), the Bend-La Pine School District Office, and the Redmond School District office.

Dirksen Derby
  The Derby is BACK for its third season!! This race is pure comedy and skill and it's your opportunity to win some of Josh's killer schwag from Salomon Snowboards, Dakine, Bonfire & Scott. Join Josh and his buds for a freeride event to raise money and awareness for Tyler Eklund. And NEW this year, it's legit, we have the MBSEF Official Timing System!

The format will remain the same this year. Emphasizing the need for speed and nice clean lines down a fun-loving, technical banked rally course peppered with bamboo gates, hay bails, cliff drops and a little bit of airtime. Register day of, at the mountain. The cost of the event is $25 with all registration proceeds being donated to our friend Tyler Eklund who was seriously injured three years ago while snowboarding in California.

Registration is from 8 to 10 am in the lower level of the West Village Lodge. There will be 3 divisions: Snowboard, Sit Ski and Splitboard.

USASA grass roots competition for all ages. 13th season! Lots of fun, lost of prizes. Medals awarded to top 3 finishers at each weekend event for age groups and disciplines. More details coming soon.

Check in is from to 8:00 am to 9:00am. Entries will be capped at 125 participants.
