Snowshoe Tours
Join a US Forest Service Naturalist outside the Guest Services Building at West Village for FREE 90 minute interpretive tours. Learn about the winter ecology and geology of Central Oregon, the Deschutes National Forest watershed and the plants and animals found throughout the area.
Dress warmly; snowshoes are provided and no previous experience required.
When: weekends and holidays
- Daily, December 26, 2007 - December 30, 2007
- Daily, January 2, 2008 - January 6, 2008
- March 24, 2008 - March 30, 2008
- Saturday, Sunday and holidays from January to March 2008
Time: 10 AM and 1:30 PM
Cost: FREE, snowshoes provided

Thanks to all the Forest Service volunteers who make this program a success. We do ask that participants are older than 10 years old and wear snowboots and warm winter clothing.
