Summer is coming to a close and it was another glorious season of sun and incredible experiences at Mt Bachelor! Below is summer information to keep in mind for next year.
Sightseeing
Your alpine adventure begins with a leisurely ride on the new Pine Marten Express to our mid-mountain lodge, aptly named the Pine Marten Lodge. Access to the chair lift is easy, and the ride is fun for all ages. The lift is handicap accessible. From mid-mountain, take in the majestic sights of the Three Sisters, Broken Top and the High Cascade Lakes. If you interested in more of hike, make the trek to our 9,065 foot Summit and take in breathtaking panoramic view south to Mt. Shasta in California and north to Mt. Adams in Washington. Please remember to bring a sweatshirt or jacket and to wear study running shoes or hiking boots.

Dining
For dining, visit the Pine Marten Lodge's Scapolo's restaurant (Italian for Bachelor) and enjoy hearth baked pizza, italian specials,gourmet sandwiches, speciality brews on tap and an exapansive wine list. BBQ items will also be available on the deck and will include hotdogs and hamburgers.
Hiking
Hike to a variety of interesting viewpoints throughout Mt. Bachelor. Enjoy unobstructed panoramic views across all of Central Oregon and the Cascades. Cool and refreshing snowfields can be your reward before riding the chair lift down. Of course, if you like, you can skip the chair ride down and descend on your own on our hiking trails. A Forest Service Naturalist will lead interpretive tours around the mountain. Check back for days and times.
Shopping
Find the latest in outdoor clothing and all the necessities for fun under the sun. The Mt Bachelor Ski & Sport has what you want: Jackets and light hiking boots, sunscreen and souvenir T-shirts.
