Kids Programs 

Our Signature Kids Programs are designed to give kids the best on mountain experience possible.  We guarantee small groups, great food, and loads of fun. Price includes lift ticket, lesson, and lunch.  Equipment Rental can be added for only $15.  Reservations are highly recommended.

Full Day Lessons: 9:30am to 3:30pm

Need rentals?  With any group lesson purchase rentals are $15 for guests 12 and under.

Bring your child directly to the West Village Day Care to complete your child’s registration process and our Day Care and Snowsports School Staff will do the rest!  

This is the best learning experience for your 3 ½ - 5 year old skier! 
A 2 ½ hour Little Rippers ski lesson with a guaranteed class size of 3.  

Program includes a 2 ½ hour Little Rippers lesson, lunch and Day Care from 8:30 (Monday – Friday) or 8:00 (Weekends) – 4:00.  No need to go any where else! In celebration of this inaugural program, rentals are included.

LITTLE RIPPERS 3 1/2 - 5 Years

Mt. Bachelor is the only resort in the Northwest that offers a 3 to 1, group lesson for 3 ½ - 5 year old skiers!!  Are you looking to get your little one started or progress further on skis? This is the perfect program.

Little Rippers is a skiing program for kids ages 3 ½ - 5 years. Kids get a guaranteed maximum group size of 3 which means more personal attention and a guarantee that, when ready, they will always ride lifts with their instructor. Little Rippers is staffed by children’s specific instructors who have additional training focusing on young kids.

This is a skiing specific program.  Program includes lift ticket, on snow instruction and lunch (for full day guests). Morning and afternoon half day lessons are available. AGAIN, Please note: This is a SKI ONLY program, group snowboarding lessons are not offered for this age group.

MAX 5 PROGRAM 6 - 12 Years

GUARANTEED class size of 5 or less! This is a fast track program to get your child ripping it up on skis or a snowboard in no time. This program is designed for kids ages 6 to 12 years and is for all ability levels.  The guaranteed small class size combined with a select group of experienced instructors will lead to huge improvement on the slopes.  Plus, the individual attention that your kids receive will make them feel like they are part of our mountain club.

Lunch and lift ticket are included in the price. Kids will eat wherever and whatever they want with their instructor at one of the restaurant locations on the mountain. Mt. Bachelor offers spectacular views from our restaurants and some of the best kid-friendly menu items for your child.

Traditional Programs

MOUNTAIN MASTERS / MOUNTAIN RIDERS 6 - 12 Years

Traditional lesson format for kids ages 6-12 (all abilities of skiers and snowboarders).  Price includes lift ticket, lesson, and pre-planned lunch menu (for full day guests).  Full day lessons begin at 9:30 am and run until 3:30 pm.  Average expected class size of 8-10 with more during peak holiday periods.  For smaller class sizes check out our Signature Programs.

**Traditional Programs are not offered at the Sunrise Base Area.
