Max 5
Thank you for your interest in the Max 5 Signature program. Max 5 is a skiing and snowboarding program designed for 6 – 12 year old skiers and snowboarders of ALL abilities. This is an all day program, with a guaranteed class size of 5!! Once children have completed the registration process with the Rental Department or our Snowsports Services Yurt, they meet their coaches at the entrance to our staging area in the Max 5 meeting area. Once signed in, the class is free to roam the mountain for the rest of the day. Max 5 students have the choice of eating at any of the lodges on the mountain. Please, ABSOLUTELY NO 5 year old snowboarders in this program. If your child is a 5 year old intermediate skier, we do make exceptions.
Rentals are available for $15.
Tips for success!
- Make sure your child has plenty of sleep the night before. A good night’s sleep is imperative to your child’s success.
- Have your child start his or her day with a nutritious breakfast. While we do have snacks available for students, your child’s favorite snack in their pocket can go a long way.
- Dress your child in layers, with waterproof outer ware on last. Goggles for snow days and sunglasses on milder days or strongly suggested. As always, sunscreen is a must.
- Give your self extra time to arrive on the mountain. We do have winter driving conditions and on busy days, traffic can be slower.
- If your child needs rentals, go directly to the rental department. Plan at least an hour prior to your chosen start time if rentals are needed with a little more time during our busy holiday periods. The rental department will complete your registration process and provide you with rentals and your child’s lesson ticket. Rentals are available for $15 for all participants in lessons.
- If you DO NOT need rentals, complete your registration process at our Snowsport Services Yurt. The Snowsport Services yurt is located to the East of the Pine Martin lift and slope side of the West Village Lodge. At Sunrise our sales window is located to the far right of the ticket windows.
- Max 5 students meet just inside our fenced staging area to the left. If you’ve gone past the Magic Carpet, you’ve gone too far!
