Mt Bachelor Snowsports Teams

Like Summer Camp on the Slopes!

Are these guys lucky or what? Mt. Bachelor Snowsports Teams are pretty awesome. Kids get the same coach every time. They ski or ride with lots of the same kids each week, make tons of friends and end up knowing the terrain better than mom or dad. They'll learn life lessons like responsibility, trust, safety, and navigation while they have fun on the mountain.

Save time!  Fill out a Ski School Release Form in advance and bring it up to the mountain on the day of your lesson!

We will begin taking registrations in September 2010 by calling (800) 829-2442 or 541-382-1709 (local) between 8:30am-4:30pm PST. Payment is taken at the time your reservation is made. We accept MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover cards.

Certain programs can be reserved through our Ski School eStore.

Ages 4-5, Beginner through Intermediate level skiers

The Mighty Mites program is a skiing only program designed for developing the skills needed to begin a life of skiing.  The nature of this program is “Learning through Fun” and includes many activities and themes that are geared towards increasing a child’s interest skiing while developing basic skills.  Instructors for this program are selected because of their background and training in working with young children.

This is not a race development program, however, participants in the 10 week session will have the opportunity to ski a variety of obstacle courses throughout the season and compete in a fun race on the final day of the program.  All kids will ski with the same instructor throughout the duration of the program and will be assigned to groups of six to eight based on age and ability.

The program runs from 9:30am – 3:00pm and is based out of the Sunrise Ski School (Sessions 1 and 4 will be based out of the West Village Ski School).  Participants will eat with their instructor and need to bring a lunch from home. A clear ziploc freezer bag or lunchbox works best with the childs name printed on it.

Ages 6-17, Beginner through Expert level skiers and snowboarders

The All Mountain Kids program is for skiers and snowboarders looking to develop the fundamental skills needed to advance to a competitive racing program, or for those looking to ski with a group of friends with guidance and instruction of a coach in all mountain conditions.  Coaches for the race oriented groups are selected because of additional training in USSA coaching techniques and previous racing/coaching experience.

As the name implies, All Mountain Kids will focus on all around skill development including:  freestyle, racing, all mountain skiing/riding, and overall personal improvement.  Kids in the 10 week program will have the opportunity to participate in an All Mountain Kids Championship Race on the final day of the program. Participants will be assigned to groups based on age and ability level, and coaches will work with the same group throughout the duration of the program.

The program runs from 9:30am – 3:00pm and is based out of the Sunrise Ski School (Sessions 1 and 4 will be based out of the West Village Ski School).  Participants will eat with their instructor and need to bring a lunch from home.
