Our kids programs are designed to give kids the best on mountain experience possible. We guarantee small groups, great food, and loads of fun. Price includes lift ticket, lesson, and lunch. Equipment rental can be added for only $15. Reservations are highly recommended.
We will begin taking reservations in September 2009 by calling (800) 829-2442 or 541-382-1709 (local) between 8:30am-4:30pm PST. Payment is taken at the time your reservation is made. We accept MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover cards.

Save time! Fill out a Ski School Release Form in advance and bring it up to the mountain on the day of your lesson!
CANCELLATION POLICY: You must call at least 24 hours prior to your reservation date in order to receive a refund.
Reservations made the day before or day of do not qualify for a refund.

Signature Start is half lesson - half daycare - one stop for it all
Bring your child directly to the West Village Day Care to complete your child’s registration process and our Day Care and Snowsports School Staff will do the rest! This is the best learning experience for your 3 ½ - 5 year old skier. A gentle introduction to skiing with a blend of on snow and indoor activities. They will want to come back for more. Program includes a 2 hour Little Rippers lesson, lunch and Day Care from 8:30 until 4:00. No need to go any where else! Rentals are included too!
Advanced reservations are highly recommended. Space is limited by availability.

Mt. Bachelor is the only resort in the Northwest that offers a 3 to 1, group lesson for 3 ½ - 5 year old skiers! Are you looking to get your little one started or progress further on skis? This is the perfect program.
Little Rippers is a skiing program for kids ages 3 ½ - 5 years. Kids get a guaranteed maximum group size of 3 which means more personal attention and a guarantee that, when ready, they will always ride lifts with their instructor. Little Rippers is staffed by children’s specific instructors who have additional training focusing on young kids.
This is a skiing specific program. Program includes lift ticket, on snow instruction, equipment rental and lunch (for full day guests). Morning and afternoon half day lessons are available. Again, please note: This is a SKI ONLY program, group snowboarding lessons are not offered for this age group.
Please proceed to our new children's center, located in the lower West Village Lodge, for all your Little Rippers needs. Equipment rental is included in Little Rippers.

GUARANTEED class size of 5 or less! This is a fast track program to get your child ripping it up on skis or a snowboard in no time. This program is designed for kids ages 6 to 12 years and is for all ability levels. The guaranteed small class size combined with a select group of experienced instructors will lead to huge improvement on the slopes. Plus, the individual attention that your kids receive will make them feel like they are part of our mountain club.
Lunch and lift ticket are included in the price. Kids will eat wherever and whatever they want with their instructor at one of the restaurant locations on the mountain. Mt. Bachelor offers spectacular views from our restaurants and some of the best kid-friendly menu items for your child.

Just looking for a good ol’ ski/ride lesson? Our beginner workshops are simple, helpful, and will get you on your way to enjoying skiing and riding. You can get them with a ticket included or not. We spend 2 hours showing you the basics and then you are off to explore and learn at your own pace. Equipment rental can be added for only $15. Sign up for half-day lessons is done on the mountain either at our Snowsports Schools or if you need rentals, sign up in the Rental Shop as you get geared up for the day. If signing up in the Rental Shop, please allow an hour prior to lesson time to allow plenty of time to get to your lesson on time.
