USAT Winter Triathalon National Championships
Competitors Crosscountry ski, Bike, and run. The Competition will feature both an age-group race and elite race. The age-group race will qualify the top five athletes per age group and the elite race will qualify the top three men and women to compete in the World Championships in Gaishorn, Austria, in February 2009. Mt Bachelor Free Ride Event - The Oregon Cup 2009
Bachy Slope Style (Formerly Mt. Dew Series, now renamed and totally revamped). Brought to you by our premier sponsors: Helly Hansen, Powder House & Skjersaa's! Saturday's Oregon Cup is Open Class ONLY!! AND there will be a $2000 purse!! The Cup continues with a Solo Slope Style event with a shortened course in prime view of the Pine Marten Lift. 5 +/- elements with skier, rider and female categories. Men's ski & snowboard categories each boast a $500 first place and a $250 second place. Women will have a combined ski/snowboard category (unless at least 6 of each discipline compete) with $500 up for grabs.

If you've never competed before, or maybe you're not quite up to top shred or pro status...then Sunday is the day for you! Created for the half pints and amateurs, and those that just want to have some fun. Sunday's Bachy Solo Slope Style will be held in the I-Park off Skyliner chair. Skier, Rider, age 13 & over, or 12 & under categories. Prizes for Sunday competitors include sweet swag from our sponsors such as Burton, Dakine, Giro, Orage, Spacecraft and more!

Helmets are required for every competitor to participate!!! Under the age of 18 years old needs a parental release to participate!!! If you are under 18 & plan to compete, go to Powder House, Helly Hansen or Skjersaa's, pick up an event waiver, have your parent sign it and bring it with you to check in/registration. FOR 18 AND OVER, there must be at least four participants in order for full cash prizes to be awarded. If less than four participants are entered, then half cash prizes will be awarded!

Entry Fee: $30 Saturday event, $20 Sunday event.

Registration: Day of the event in the Caldera, located at lower West Village Lodge. Parents will need to sign a release form for participants under the age of 18 years old. Registration will begin each day at 8:00am until 10:00 am and event will start at 11:00 am.
Time: Register: Day of Event at the Lower Level of the West Village Lodge from 8 am to 10 am. Event Starts at 11 am. Awards: an hour to an hour and a half after the last competitor
