Flying to Bend, just keeps getting better!  The Redmond Airport (RDM) is aproximately 20 miles north of Bend. 


Now Horizon and Alaska offer non-stop flights from Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Seattle and Portland!  Service is also provided by United Express and Skywest.  Car rental services are available at the airport.  Call in advance to reserve a vehicle that best suits your needs!

Driving from the Portland Area - North

  • From Portland, get on I-84 and take the Wood Village Exit
  • Turn right on NE 238th Dr. will turn into NE 242nd Dr
  • Turn slightly left onto NE Burnside Rd., becomes SE Burnside St.
  • SE Burnside becomes US-26 E (BE AWARE, this is a Safety Corridor! Traffic fines DOUBLE!)
  • Stay straight to go onto US-97 S
  • Get off on Exit 138 Downtown/Mt. Bachelor
  • Right on NW Colorado Ave
  • At second roundabout turn left (or your third right) onto SW Century Dr
  • Follow SW Century Dr. 21 miles to Mt. Bachelor.  Resort will be on your left
  • FYI: Avis of Portland Oregon is able to rent out a vehicle with winter tires on them. You can reach them at 1-800-331-1212.

Driving from the Eugene Area - West

  • From Eugene take OR 126 / McKenzie Hwy Eastbound
  • Stay straight to merge onto US 20 Eastbound
  • Merge onto Bend Parkway / US 97 Southbound
  • Take Exit 138 Downtown / Mt Bachelor
  • Turn Right onto NW Colorado Ave
  • At roundabout continue straight onto SW Colorado Ave
  • At next roundabout take 3rd exit onto SW Century Dr / Cascade Lakes Hwy
  • At next roundabout continue straight on SW Century Dr / Cascade Lakes Hwy
  • Cascade Lakes Hwy ends at Mt. Bachelor

Driving from Ashland Area - South

  • From Ashland take OR-62 E / OR-238 toward Medford and Crater Lake
  • Turn Right on to Crater Lake Hwy / OR-62E.  Follow OR 62 E
  • Stay straight on OR 230 / W Diamond Lake Hwy
  • Turn Right on OR 138 / E Diamond Lake Hwy
  • Turn Left onto US 97 N
  • Turn Left onto Vandervert Rd
  • Turn Right onto S Century Dr
  • Turn Left onto Spring River Rd
  • Spring River Rd becomes NF 40
  • Turn Right onto NF 45 / Edison Ice Cave Rd
  • At Junction stay straight to get onto westbound Cascade Lakes Hwy
  • Cascade Lakes Hwy ends at Mt. Bachelor Resort, West Village, in Winter season
