Tetherow, Crosswater or Aspen Lakes for golfing. Phil’s trail for mountain biking. The Cascade Lakes Highway for road biking or sight-seeing. Smith Rock State Park for rock climbing. South Sister for hiking or mountain climbing. The Metolius, Deschutes or Fall River for fly fishing. The Les Schwab Ampitheater for big-time concerts. The list goes on and on.

The Unoffical Beer Capital of the USA
For a thousand good reasons Bend, Oregon is widely known as the premier outdoor playground of the United States. But a lesser known element of the Bend Experience is the city’s extraordinary abundance of craft beer – incredibly delicious craft beer! In our little mountain town of 82,000 people, Bend and surrouncing communities are home to nearly 30 craft breweries (and growing), many within walking distance of one another.
Visit beermebend.com for information about our local breweries!
The Bend Ale Trail - The Largest Beer Trail in the West!
The Bend Ale Trail gives visitors and locals alike a glimpse into the unique craft brewery culture of Central Oregon. Learn about the cutting-edge brewing techniques used by Bend’s brewers, meet the artisan brewers who have launched the Bend beer scene onto the World stage, and experience the diversity of styles, art and taste that differentiate each of our region’s breweries.
Use the Bend Ale Trail Atlas and Passport to discover Bend's breweries. Get your passport stamped at each brewery location and when you get all the stamps, stop by or send your completed passport to the Bend Visitor Center and receive a commemorative Bend Silipint!

Cycle Pub of Bend
You can pedal a bicycle made for 16 people on the Bend Ale Trail! The Cycle Pub of Bend incorporates two favorite Bend pasttimes - bikes and beer! Appearing much like a trolley or San Francisco cable car, The Cycle Pub adds a new twist - riders actually provide the horsepower by pedaling this 16 passenger "bike", while enjoying the various sights and attractions of Bend along the way. They've recently added two more bar/bike hybrids to their fleet which require a few less feet to pedal.
