Fri Nov 20 1:30 am (update #8)

Mt Bachelor is open!!

Pine and Sunshine are open! The snow is falling a bit harder this afternoon with an inch accumulated so far. The visibility is normal-thicker at the top, better at the bottom. Expect early season conditions today along with tough weather. The groomers are best. There are some exposed areas that you will want to watch out for as well as some nice patches of powder to jump into. I skiied Leeway, T-bird, Olypian and DSQ with the latter two being my favs!

You will also see Skyliner spinning at times on Friday. It is not open, but undergoing prep work. We hope to open it on Saturday. The West Village Getback will be your lowest point to return to a lift Friday.

We still plan to go at 9am on Saturday.

Our uphill access policy is in effect. So it's the cone only for hikers via the Leeway trail. Click here for more info.

Pass office is open at the mountain today. Expect lines if you have chosen to wait until then to get your pass printed.

Hames has been working his magic and has pieced together 14 plus features off of Sunshine complete with boxes, rails, bonks, tables, hips and other fun stuff.

Click here to learn more about our pricing. Opening day rates will be based upon the $39 Adult HALF DAY RATE.

Mt. Bachelor Club Card is now ON SALE. Get $49 non holiday lift tickets all season and skip the ticket lines! Only available through Dec 18.

  • We are opening at 11:30! Cheers!

    Mountain Cameras

Web cams are updated every 5 minutes between 6:30 AM and 5 PM Pacific Standard Time.

Please note: On storm days, these images may be blurred due to snow build up or high winds. We are working on clearing the cameras as soon as we can. Please bear with us!

Ever wonder why chairs go on wind hold sometimes? Because when chairs are either swinging into the towers, or are swinging to the point they might get jammed in the top or bottom terminals, that can create a situation that would stop the lift and it would not be able to be restarted quickly - requiring evacuation. We aim to avoid those situations as much as possible for the betterment of mankind. Thus wind hold occurs in the 40-60 mph range and above for safety reasons. You do not want to be on a chair, waiting for a rope down when it's blowing 60+. Trust me.
