Join a US Forest Service Naturalist for FREE 90 minute interpretive tours. Learn about winter ecology at Mt Bachelor and the geology of Central Oregon, the Deschutes National Forest watershed and the plants and animals found throughout the area.
Please dress for the weather; snowshoes are provided and no previous experience is required. We do ask that participants be older than 8 years old and wear snowboots and warm winter clothing. No dogs. No infants in packs.

PROGRAM DATES:
Snowshoe tours have concluded for the 2011-2012 season.
We look forward to hosting tours again next season, beginning in December 2012.
TIME:
10:00am and 1:30pm. No reservations required.
WHERE:
Please check-in 10-15 minutes prior to time of tour at the USFS snowshoe hut just outside the Guest Services building in West Village.
COST:
FREE - snowshoes are provided, however, guests may wear their own if preferred. Donations accepted on behalf of non-profit partner, Discover Your Northwest, to fund this volunteer-based program.
