Otter Mountain Childcare

Located in the lower level of the West Village Lodge, Mt. Bachelor’s Otter Mountain Childcare Center is a state-licensed facility offering care for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our caregivers are highly trained professionals who specialize in making your child comfortable and happy. Children ages 6 weeks to 30 months will be cared for by a staff-to-child ratio of 1:4. Children ages 31 months and older have a staff-to-child ratio of 1:10.

Activities include: crafts, circle time, story time, videos, and a large selection of quality toys and books.

Otter Mountain Childcare Information

CHILDCARE HOURS - 8:30am to 3:45pm daily. CLOSED FOR THE SEASON AFTER APRIL 21.

ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - Call 800.829.2442 or 541.382.1709 from 8:30am to 7:30pm to make a reservation. If you are making reservations for others, please have the child's birth date available as well as any other pertinent information to make the reservation process go smoothly. Payment is required at the time of reservation (VISA, Mastercard, Discover & American Express accepted).

SAME DAY RESERVATIONS - Please inquire about availability BEFORE you head to the mountain by calling 800.829.2442 or 541.382.1709. Phone lines open at 8:30am, so please do not call before that time. On extremely busy days, availability can become limited quickly.

CANCELLATION POLICY - You must call at least 24 hours prior to arrival date in order to receive a refund.

LUNCH - Mt. Bachelor offers a box lunch for $7. Please order your box lunch at the time you make your daycare reservation. Lunches must be ordered by 10:00am the day of your arrival. Children may bring a sack lunch. You may enjoy lunch with your child outside of the facility from Noon to 1:00pm.

SIGNATURE START - The best way to get your little one skiing! Half day lesson and half day of childcare, all in one stop! Do single day or multi-day, and make it easy. Signature Start is for SKIERS ONLY, ages 3.5 to 5 years, and includes lunch and rentals. For more information, click here.

Tips for Parents

Please bring the following items for infants and toddlers:

• Disposable diapers
• Bottles
• Lunch
• Extra clothing

Please label all personal belongings. It is helpful if parents provide extra pants for all children, all ages. Due to space availability, please limit personal items to one bag. Otter Mountain Childcare Prices

Access Pass

The Access pass is a good way to get a discount with Otter Mountain Childcare when you plan on skiing multiple days this season. We have a full and half day option to meet your skiing needs. There is no limit to the number of passes you purchase during the season and your pass gives you the discount even during peak pricing! Once you purchase the pass we will keep track of your usage for you. The pass will be valid the entire Childcare season.

*Holiday Season:  December 26-31, 2012; January 1, January 19-20 and February 16-17, 2013

** Snowplay is for ages 2.5 and older. An hour of outdoor fun and games (weather permitting) starts at 10:30am on weekends and holidays. Available on weekends and holidays and might include skiing.
