Charity Ski Week
Mt. Bachelor launched its Charity Week program in 2008. Since its inception, Mt. Bachelor has donated $669,160 in cash to Bend and Central Oregon area non-profit organizations aligned with our community values of supporting kids and families in need, student athlete academic achievement through the discipline of competitive alpine and Nordic skiing and snowboarding, and environmentally sustainable practices.
For 2018-19, skiers and snowboarders can buy Mt. Bachelor lift tickets for $45, which are valid to use during select midweek periods in January and April. A total of 1,111 tickets will be available to buy on a first-sold, first-served basis. Mt. Bachelor will donate 100% of the cash collected, totaling $50,000, to participating non-profit organizations in Central Oregon. The specific list of beneficiaries will be announced in November.
Charity Week ticket sales will end once all tickets are sold, or December 21, 2018, whichever occurs first.
This season, the $45 Charity Week lift tickets will be valid to use:
January 7, 2019 - January 11, 2019 (Monday-Friday)
January 14, 2019 - January 18, 2019 (Monday-Friday)
April 15, 2019 - April 19, 2019 (Monday-Friday)
April 22, 2019 - April 26, 2019 (Monday-Friday)
IMPORTANT NOTE: You can purchase up to six (6) Charity Week lift tickets in one online transaction, but during the purchase process you must assign WHO is going to use EACH ticket. You will need full names and dates-of-birth for each ticket user. Do not put all the tickets under your name unless you intend to use all of them yourself! All tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE (and non-refundable) once assigned and purchased.
WHERE AND WHEN CAN I PICK UP MY TICKET(S)?
If you already have a Mt. Bachelor OnePass and you input your OnePass number to your online profile at the time you created an online account, then the tickets you buy will be automatically loaded to your OnePass and you can go direct-to-lift. If you do not have a current/valid OnePass, then bring a photo ID at any Mt. Bachelor ticket window on the day that you want to ski or ride and we'll issue you a new OnePass with your Charity Week lift ticket loaded on it.
CAN I PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE TICKET?
Yes! You are welcome to purchase up to six (6) Charity Week lift tickets, but note that tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE and you must indicate who is going to use each ticket at the time of purchase. If you intend to use all six tickets for yourself, then assign all six to your name during the purchase process. However, if you intend for other people to use some or all of the tickets, you will need to enter full names and dates-of-birth for each ticket user. Once tickets are assigned and purchased, they cannot be transferred.
ARE THE TICKETS TRANSFERABLE?
While you can purchase a ticket on behalf of someone else, once the ticket is assigned to another person during the purchase process the ticket cannot be transferred to another person. During the online purchase process, you will be asked to assign the ticket to a person - yourself or someone else - and you will need to input the ticket users date-of-birth. Note that only the person whose name is assigned to the ticket can use it.
ARE THE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?
No. These tickets represent a discount off the regular rates and as a trade-off for receiving such a significant discount, the tickets cannot be refunded under any circumstances - including medical emergencies or injuries. This non-refundable policy applies whether the tickets are picked up or not.
WHEN DO THE TICKETS EXPIRE?
All tickets will expire after at the end of the day on April 26, 2019.
DURING THE PURCHASE PROCESS, DO I NEED TO SELECT THE DATE I WANT TO USE THE TICKETS?
No, you do not have to select your usage dates. You can use the Charity Week lift tickets any day during the designated Charity Week ticket usage date range.
