OSU Cascades Ticket Fundraiser
11/11/2017 - TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT
Thanks to everyone who supported OSU Cascades by purchasing Mt. Bachelor lift tickets this year!
Mt. Bachelor is a proud supporter of Oregon State University - Cascades' fundraising initiative to expand OSU-Cascades into a comprehensive, four-year branch campus of OSU with its own physical campus in Bend. To help OSU-Cascades achieve its goal, Mt. Bachelor sold $50,000-worth of discounted lift tickets from 2012 through 2016. All proceeds - $250,000 in total over the five year span - were donated to the 4 Central Oregon initiative.
Mt. Bachelor is pleased to announce that it will pledge another $250,000 - $50,000 per year from 2017 through 2021 - to continue its support of OSU-Cascades' initiatives in Central Oregon.
For 2017-18, skiers and snowboarders can buy Mt. Bachelor lift tickets for $63. A total of 794 tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Mt. Bachelor will donate 100% of the cash collected, totaling $50,000, to OSU-Cascades.
OSU-Cascades ticket sales will end once all tickets are sold, or December 22, 2017, whichever occurs first.
This season, the $63 OSU Cascades tickets will be valid to use any day during Mt. Bachelor's 2017-18 winter season, excluding December 26, 2017 through January 1, 2018, January 13-14, 2018 and February 17-18, 2018.
11/11/2017 - TICKETS ARE NOW SOLD OUT
WHERE AND WHEN CAN I PICK UP MY TICKET(S)?
Simply show a photo ID at any Mt. Bachelor ticket window on the day that you want to ski or ride. Tickets cannot be picked-up prior to your intended skiing or snowboarding day.
CAN I PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE TICKET?
Yes! You are welcome to purchase up to six (6) OSU Cascades tickets.
ARE THE TICKETS TRANSFERABLE?
Yes and no. Yes in the sense that you can purchase a ticket on behalf of someone else. But once the ticket is assigned to another person - either during the purchase process or following one day of use, the ticket cannot be transferred to another person. During the webstore purchase process, you will be asked to assign the ticket to a person - yourself or someone else. Note that only the person whose name is assigned to the ticket can pick it up at the ski area. If one family member (mom, for example) puts all four family-member tickets in her name, that's fine...but mom will be the only person who can pick up the tickets and all members of the family must be present at the ticket window with mom in order to receive their ticket. The same would be true for a group of friends; the tickets can all be in one person's name, but each person in the group expecting to get a ticket must be present at the ticket window with the ticket purchaser. If a family or group of friends is planning to arrive separately or to ski on different dates, then it is best if each ticket is assigned individually so that each person can pick up his/her own ticket on their preferred day of first use.
ARE THE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?
No. These tickets represent a discount off the regular rates and as a trade-off for receiving such a significant discount, the tickets cannot be refunded under any circumstances - including medical emergencies or injuries. This non-refundable policy applies whether the tickets are picked up or not.
WHEN DO THE TICKETS EXPIRE?
All tickets will expire after at the end of the day on May 27, 2018.
DURING THE PURCHASE PROCESS, DO I NEED TO SELECT THE DATE I WANT TO USE THE TICKETS?
No, you do not have to select your usage dates. During the purchase process, you are essentially purchasing an electronic ticket voucher. You can choose when you want to redeem that voucher (subject to exclusion dates) and collect the ticket(s) to use at Mt. Bachelor.
