Season Pass FAQs
Picking Up Your Season Pass
Did you know that you can use the same OnePass media card you have from last year? Read below to learn more. You can always contact us to see if your pass is active. The preferred contact methods:
- Text us at 541-382-1709 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org . Include your first name, last name, date-of-birth and the number on your OnePass card.
- Call us at 541-382-1709. Phone hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We are no longer printing photo passes at our Bend office in the Sun Country Tours building at 531 SW 13th Street. We do have limited capacity to issue OnePass cards between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. These cards do not have a picture on them, but will get through the lift gates and allow you to ski or ride on your season pass. Our full service pass office will open at the Mountain Gateway Sales Center once the mountain opens for the season.
It is not necessary to sign-in to an account to buy a season pass. In fact, we recommend that you not sign in. So long as you enter your first name, last name and date of birth, the system will automatically connect your purchase with the record we have on file for you in our database.
If you have an existing OnePass from a previous season (summer or winter), your purchase will automatically be loaded to the OnePass card that you most recently used at Mt. Bachelor, allowing you direct-to-lift access this winter without any further intervention on our part.
And if you're a new customer, the system will automatically create a new guest record for you. There is no need to sign-in or create an online account. You can get your picture taken and pick up your new season pass prior to the start of the winter season on the dates and at the locations listed in the "Picking Up Your New Season Pass" section of this FAQ.
If you want to buy passes for multiple people in one transaction online, make sure you select the "Add Another Guest" option after you've selected the first season pass that you want to buy. Do not select the red box that says "Add More Products", as that option will add another pass product to the same person.
The only situations when you want to select the "Add More Products" red box is if you want to buy an alpine season pass and a shuttle season pass for the same person, or an alpine season pass and a Nordic season pass for the same person.
Otherwise, you should use the "Add Another Guest" option to add additional persons and then pick which product to buy that that person.
Upon reviewing the Express Assumption of Risks (EAR) document when buying a pass online, there will be two boxes at the bottom where you must type information. In the first box, you should type the name of the person authorized to sign the document. This person is considered the "signee". Type the signee's name in that top box. For example, a person named John Smith would type: JOHN SMITH
Then, in the second (bottom) box, you should type: I AGREE
If you type these items as described above, the "CONFIRM" button at the bottom of the waiver will turn from grey to red. Click it, and you can advance.
Other scenarios where you might encounter diffulties:
If you are buying a pass for another legal adult: Please do not sign the document on behalf of that person. The other adult you're buying for must sign his/her own name at a later time before he/she can activate his/her pass.
If you are buying a pass for a minor in addition to buying an adult or senior pass for yourself: Sign the EAR by typing your name (the "signee") into the top box on behalf of the minor (assuming you have legal authority to do so).
If you are buying a pass for a minor without any legal adult passes included in the purchase: The system will not let you sign for the EAR online. That's OK, you can still proceed with buying the pass. You'll just need to sign the EAR at a later time, in person, prior to the minor's first use of the pass.
The Payment Plan option is available for those who wish to spread their payments out over time. The plan requires a $49 down payment, which includes a $20 processing fee, on or before September 15. Half of the remaining balance will be charged on October 15, with the final balance charged on November 15. The same credit/debit card will be charged for all payments. Mt. Bachelor reserves the right to charge a $50 Declined Charge Fee to customers whose credit is declined on October 15 or November 15. The Payment Plan is only available for online purchases.
Also note that the Payment Plan option, if selected during the purchase process, will apply to all passes purchased in the transaction. If you are buying multiple passes for multiple people and you want to pay for some passes on the Payment Plan and pay for other passes in full, then you will need to buy in two separate transactions: one transaction for the Payment Plan passes, and one transaction for passes that are paid in full.
Other frequently asked Payment Plan questions:
What season pass products can I buy on the Payment Plan? - You can buy a Full Season Pass, Midweek Pass or 12 Day Pass using the Payment Plan option. How will the Fall Payment Plan be implemented? - It starts with a $49 down payment per pass, of which $29 is credited towards your pass purchase. ($20 is collected for the processing fee.) Then, half of your remaining balance will be charged on October 15 and the remaining half on November 15. It will charge the same credit card each time. Please ensure that your credit card expiration date is after November 15, 2018.
Can I place my down payment on a credit card then pay the rest later with a check/cash? - No. The Payment Plan is for credit/debit card purchasers only and must be completed using the same credit/debit card originally processed.

Congratulations on completing SKI OR RIDE IN 5! If you just finished the program last winter, then you're eligible for a 50% discount on a Full Season Pass for the upcoming 2018-19 winter season. And if you completed SKI OR RIDE IN 5 during the 2016-17 winter season and had a Full Season Pass last winter, then you're eligible for a 25% discount on this winter's pass.
To get a pass for this winter at your discounted price, you'll need to give us a call at 541-382-1709 or visit us at our Sun Country Tours location on SW Century Drive in Bend. Unfortunately we cannot sell you a discounted pass online; the purchase must be over the phone or in-person.
These discounted passes also are not eligible to use the Payment Plan option; they must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Remember to call us or stop by before September 30 to get the best deal. Season Pass prices increase on October 1, and although your discount eligibility will remain active after that date, our lowest prices are offered in September.
There are NO REFUNDS on season passes - even if the season pass is never picked up or used. Unused passes have no value and cannot be rolled-over into the next season.
The only exception to the NO REFUND policy is for those who opt to purchase Pass Refund Protection. Mt. Bachelor offers this voluntary, opt-in program to help you protect your investment. By purchasing Pass Refund Protection for $39, you have the ability to receive all or a portion of the cost of your pass if you are unable to begin or finish the 2018-19 winter season in the event of documented injury/illness, pregnancy, relocation (some restrictions apply) or military deployment. Read the complete Pass Refund Protection Policy here.
If you opt not to purchase Pass Refund Protection, please understand and accept that we will not consider your circumstances, regarless of reason, and your refund request will automatically be declined.
Yes, and it's easy. All you need to do is enter your first name, last name and date of birth where prompted during the online purchase process. As long as you spell your name exactly the same as last year, the system will connect your purchase with your customer profile in our system... and it will activate your season pass product on the same OnePass media card that you most-recently used at Mt. Bachelor. Your pass will be active and ready for direct-to-lift access. If you have more than one OnePass media card in your possession, however, then give us a call at 541-382-1709 and we can tell you which card is the active one.
If you would like a new picture for 2018-19, then you can stop by the mountain when it's open or at our Sun Country Tours location on SW Century Drive at your convenience.
POST-PURCHASE TIP: Take a look at the e-mail confirmation letter you received following your season pass purchase. There will be a bar code in the top right corner. If the alpha-numeric (letter and number) code printed beneath the bar code exactly matches the code that is printed on the OnePass media card you have in your possession, then your OnePass is active and loaded with your season pass product... and you can go direct-to-lift on your first day of skiing/snowboarding. If the codes do not match, then you'll need to come see us before your pass will work at the lifts.
All prices and dates are subject to change. Bachelor, at its sole discretion, will determine the length of the winter season & the operating schedule. The planned winter season, from late November through May, is subject to change. All lift ticket & season pass products will expire after the winter season closing date. A pass is to be used by the official passholder only. Mt. Bachelor will be vigilantly on the lookout for cases of pass fraud in order to protect the investment of the vast majority of law-abiding passholders. Penalties, including fines, season-long or lifetime Mt. Bachelor access bans, and/or criminal charges will be assessed to both the fraudulent user and the consenting passholder.

Can I get my picture taken at the mountain? - Yes, once the winter ski & snowboard season begins. But be prepared for a lengthy lines at the Sales Center during the first couple weeks of the season.
Due to the changing ski industry business landscape during the past several months, Mt. Bachelor is unable to enter into any agreements with other ski areas regarding reciprocal season pass holder free skiing benefits for the 2018-19 winter season. We are optmistic that this changing landscape will utimately result in future benefits. Regardless, a Mt. Bachelor season pass offers tremendous value, given the size of the mountain, the variety of terrain and the length of our winter season, all of which are top-10 in North America. A Full Season Pass allows for an opportunity to ski or ride more than 180 days and pays for itself after the 10th visit.
