Scenic Chairlift Rides
Chairlift rides at Mt. Bachelor are a summer activity the whole family can enjoy! Your ride begins at the 6,300 foot elevation in our West Village base area and takes you on a relaxing ride to the Pine Marten Lodge perched at 7,775 feet. Mt. Bachelor's operating schedule is tentative and subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors. Please check our Summer Conditions Report before you drive to the mountain.
Take in the sights of the Three Sisters peaks, Broken Top and the many Cascade Lakes. Experience views of over one million acres of pristine, undeveloped land. As summer progresses, the mountain exposes ancient lava flows, wildflowers and year-round snowfields.
You may catch a glimpse of a pine marten while enjoying the different species of evergreen trees, including Mountain Hemlock, Lodgepole and White Bark Pines. Seek out the snowfields left over from the winter season and catch a cool breeze.
Once you reach the top, what you do is up to you! You can:
- Eat lunch, dinner, snacks and beverages - inside or on the deck - at Pine Marten Lodge
- Hike the trails on the mountain or to the year-round snowfields
- Play Disc Golf

Mt. Bachelor aims to provide you with the best possible all-mountain experience in the Northwest. Mother Nature is truly in charge and weather can change rapidly at higher elevations. The chairlift and Bike Park will operate during periods of light or moderate rain, but may be closed during episodes of heavy rain, if it snows or if there is icing. All mountain operations will be suspended if lightning is in the area. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS ON LIFT TICKETS.
