SUNSET DINNERS

Retreat to Mt. Bachelor Thursday through Sunday evenings through September 1st for a dining experience that transcends the ordinary. After a short but scenic chairlift ascent you'll arrive at the Pine Marten Lodge where you'll be treated to a visual and culinary feast served at 7,800’. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or that special someone, a Sunset Dinner at Pine Marten Lodge is one you won't soon forget.

Escape to the mountains and dine with us Thursday through Sunday evenings and discover why sunset dinners at Mt. Bachelor are Central Oregon's most unique dining experience. Reservations are required and are available starting at 5:00 p.m., with the last seating at 7:45 p.m. Please check the Summer Mountain Report & Conditions page for the latest operational updates before booking.

SUMMER 2026 MENUS

The locally inspired prix-fixe menu offers everything from family-style appetizers and individual entrée selections to hand-crafted cocktails or your favorite beer and wine pairings. Take in the expansive Cascade views between courses and enjoy a true feast for the senses.

HELPFUL HINTS

  • Arrive at the mountain at least 25 minutes before your reservations to allow time to get your lift tickets and ride the chair. We recommend you give yourself one hour from Bend or Sunriver.
  • Pick up your lift ticket at the Mountain Gateway building at the base of the walkway.
  • Chair ride is approximately 12 minutes one way.
  • Your complimentary lift ticket is for a round-trip ride, but you are welcome to hike down.
  • You can always come to the mountain even earlier to sightsee or have a drink in the lounge while you wait for your reserved table.
  • Bring a light jacket or dress in layers. The Base lodge is 6,300 feet and Pine Marten Lodge is 7,775 feet. The temperature on the mountain is typically 10 to 15 degrees cooler than Bend/Sunriver.
  • The road no longer ends at Mt Bachelor in summer, so don't forget to bear left after Dutchman Sno-Park.
