Explore the mountain with an instructor and a small group of skier or riders with similar ages and abilities! Lessons include 2.5 hours of instruction, plus exclusive access to dedicated lift lines for Ski and Ride School only.

LESSON TIMES:

9:30 a.m. |  1:00 p.m.

Lessons are offered at two different times daily, however, participants are only permitted to take one lesson per day.

MEETING LOCATION:

Please meet your group 15 minutes prior to the start of your lesson, geared up and ready to go. Group Lessons will meet at the SUNRISE BASE AREA. 

To access, turn left for Sunrise Lodge at the brown highway sign on Century Drive indicating. There are three parking areas – an upper, middle, and lower lot. You are welcome to park in any of the three, but the middle lot is closest to your check-in area. After you park, head for the Sunrise Rental & Sales Center on the lower level of Sunrise Lodge to check-in for your lesson. From there, you will be directed to meet your instructor outside of the lodge, on-snow in the Group Lesson meeting zone and designated by a sign.

Check-in can take a long time, especially during weekends and holiday periods; please plan accordingly as late arrivals are not guaranteed participation and may need to be re-scheduled to another day. You must pick up your rental equipment on the same day as the lesson - please arrive a minimum of 1 hour before your start time.

Pricing for Mt. Bachelor's Ski & Ride School lessons varies slightly from the rate calendar applied to our lift tickets. To see prices for your desired lesson date, use the calendar on the product page in our shop. 

Lesson participants must have a valid lift ticket or season pass for their lesson day. Tickets, passes and rentals are sold separately from the 2.5-Hour lesson product. 

New for the 24/25 winter season, you can add a discounted $50 Ski & Ride School All-Mountain Lift Ticket when you book any lesson. 

LESSON CANCELLATION POLICY:

Mt. Bachelor Ski & Ride School does not issue any cash refunds (or refunds to the original form of payment) once a lesson product has been purchased. Only winter credit will be offered in exchange for Ski & Ride School lesson or program cancellations. Lesson reservations may be canceled at any time up until 5:00 p.m. PST the day prior to the scheduled lesson or program start date in exchange for a winter credit valued at 100% of the product cost. Credit will be automatically loaded onto the purchaser’s account and can be applied to any future lesson, rental, or lift access product purchase (of equal or lesser value), valid for redemption at any time throughout the season in which it was issued.

No-shows will forfeit 100% of the reservation product cost and will not be eligible to receive a credit for future use. There are no refunds for any session that has started or is underway. Once a session begins, session date/time changes are not allowed.

LATE ARRIVALS FOR GROUP LESSONS:

Group Lessons are granted a 15 minute late arrival grace period, after which Mt. Bachelor's Lesson Cancellation and Re-booking policy will go into effect; students will not be guaranteed participation in their lesson and will be required to change their lesson to an alternative day or forfeit 100% of the reservation cost. Please plan your arrival to the mountain accordingly.
