The best way to enjoy a summer day in Central Oregon! Mt. Bachelor offers something for everyone — from thrill-seeking downhill bike trails to relaxing scenic chairlift rides overlooking the beautiful Cascades. Escape the heat in the high alpine or cool off in rushing rivers with Sun Country Tours. New this summer, Woodward WreckTangle is also open in the Old Mill District!

Location: Mt. Bachelor

The Mt. Bachelor Bike Park offers lift-served access to miles of exciting downhill trails. Our beginner lift, Sunshine Accelerator is a great introduction to the bike park for all ability levels and Pine Marten Express offers machine built and single track trails for more advanced riders.

Lift Rides

Location: Mt. Bachelor

Scenic chairlift rides are a summer activity the whole family can enjoy! Your ride begins at 6,300 feet in our West Village base area and takes you on a relaxing ride to the Pine Marten Lodge perched at 7,800 feet. Enjoy drinks or a snack at Scapolo's, hike around, and take in the sights.

Sunset Dinner

Location: Pine Marten Lodge at Mt. Bachelor

Discover Central Oregon's most unique dining experience. Enjoy dinner and a show as you watch the sun set over the Cascades and enjoy dinner with friends, family, or that special someone at 7,800 feet. Offered Thursday through Sunday starting June 22. Reservations are required.


Location: Sun Country Tours in Bend

Beat the heat and cool off on an unforgettable river adventure. Sun Country Tours offers thrilling adventures for the whole family on the beautiful rivers surrounding Central Oregon. We give you the expert guide and a paddle, you bring the stoke!


Location: The Old Mill District in Bend

This outdoor ninja obstacle challenge is built for kids and adults alike, designed with an edge only Woodward can create. Serving up ten unique and fun-filled obstacles, it's impossible not to have the best time ever as you're competing with your friends to make it through. 

Forest Talks

Location: Mt. Bachelor

Give your day trip to Mt. Bachelor an educational twist this summer! Discover Your Forest, the Deschutes National Forest's non-profit partner, invites you to enjoy Forest Service Volunteer Ranger patio talks every day at Mt. Bachelor through early September. 

Scenic Hikes

Location: Mt. Bachelor

If you plan to hike to the 9,065 foot summit, you can either start at the Sunrise Lodge base area and go directly to the top, or take the Pine Marten Lift (chairlift ticket required) from the West Village base to the mid-mountain level at 7,775 feet and hike from there to the summit.

Disc Golf

Location: Mt. Bachelor

Mt. Bachelor's Disc Golf course is PDGA listed course. Ride the Pine Marten chair up to hole #1 and work your way down the mountain to the final hole #18. Elevation and the varied terrain add extra elements to your game! A valid lift ticket or pass is required to ride the Pine Marten chairlift to hole #1.
