Course Preview Clinic: 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Aimed at intermediate skate skiers, preview and practice the Nordic course to feel confident heading into the PPP! This clinic will take participants on a preview ski of the racecourse, stopping frequently to discuss race strategy and pacing. Along the way, instructors will review the fundamentals of skate ski technique and share tips for efficiency and speed. This clinic is 1.5 hours and costs $55 (rentals and trail pass should be purchased separately, if needed). Please call the Nordic Center to sign up: 541-693-0999. 

Course Preview Race: 10:00 a.m.

Presented by Powder House The race starts at the Nordic Lodge, heads up Blue Jay’s, and then follows the PPP Nordic Racecourse. This is the perfect opportunity to preview the course, test out your race strategy, and get hyped up for the big event! Race registration is $10 and available here:

Learn to XC Ski Clinic: 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Attention beginner xc skiers who are racing in the PPP, with just two weeks left until race day, it is crunch-time to learn to skate or classic ski! Join Mt Bachelor Nordic Center’s Instructors for an overview of the basic techniques for skiing on flats, downhills, and uphills. This is truly a crash-course lesson with separate groups for skate and classic skiing. This clinic is 1.5 hours and costs $55 (rentals and trail pass should be purchased separately, if needed). Additional Information 

Ski Waxing for PPP (available every day): 

Get your skis hot waxed for the Pole Pedal Paddle! We’ll treat them with a temperature-specific wax and structure application to ensure maximum speed and enjoyment on race day. The waxing service is $20. 

We have XC ski rentals available for PPP:

Choose from skate or classic skis. The PPP rental package is $49 and includes skis, boots, and poles along with a race-specific wax and base structure application. PPP rentals may be picked up the day-of or day-before the race. To ensure accurate equipment sizing, PPP rentals must be reserved by phone (541-693-0999) or in-person at the Nordic Lodge.
