To ensure delivery of your newsletter(s), we recommend using an email address from Google, Outlook, Apple, or a personal web domain and adding info@mtbachelor.com to your address book.
You can also update your email preferences at any time.
By submitting your email address, you are consenting to receive marketing emails from Mt. Bachelor. You can revoke your consent to receive emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of every email. Mt. Bachelor does not sell or exchange your personal information to third parties.
When you "opt in" to e-mail communications from Mt. Bachelor you are providing consent to be contacted by us for the purpose of sending free newsletters, surveys, offers, and other promotional materials to you, as well as targeted offers from third parties. You can stop receiving promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in e-mails that you receive. If you decide not to receive promotional emails, we may still send you transactional or service-related communications.
Signed up for our newsletter before, but still aren't receiving emails? There could be a few possible reasons as to why you haven't seen us in your inbox.
1. You previously unsubscribed from or opted out of one of our marketing e-mails. Maybe you weren't interested in the content at the time or maybe you hit the unsubscribe link at the bottom of an email by accident...either way, once you opt-out of a Mt. Bachelor marketing email it puts a hard stop on us sending you marketing and promotional material via e-mail until you manually “re-consent” by re-submitting your email address to the sign-up field on the webform above.
2. Your email address contained a typo or contained illegal characters (i.e. !, #, &). It happens to the best of us! But unfortunately, a minor spelling mistake will prevent the system from recognising your email as a valid address and trigger a hard bounce. Simply re-enter the correct address into the sign-up field on the webform above to update your profile with the right contact info.
3. Your email provider has flagged our domain as spam. Check to see if we were blocked by your company's firewall or slipped into your spam folder. If so, you can add info@mtbachelor.com to your address book, spam filter “whitelist”, or tell your company’s IT group to allow this address to pass through any filtering software they may have set up.
4. You are using an AOL or Yahoo email address. In an effort to prevent spam, Yahoo and AOL's default email security standards, or DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication Reporting & Conformance) policies, have changed and are now set to automatically reject emails from all major email service providers and sender domains.
In order to minimize bounce rates and protect the integrity of our IP address, Mt. Bachelor suppresses contacts with Yahoo or AOL for marketing email blasts and passholder newsletters. For the greatest chance of a successful delivery, we recommend using an alternate email address (i.e. Google, Outlook, Apple, or a personal web domain) when opting in to email communications from Mt. Bachelor.
PRO-TIP! If you already have an online guest account with Mt. Bachelor, we recommend using the same e-mail address linked to that account when opting in to the newsletter.
You can stop receiving promotional emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of any promotional emails you have received from Mt. Bachelor. If you decide not to receive promotional emails, we may still send you confirmation letters for any purchases made through mtbachelor.com or for service-related communications.
Mt. Bachelor and our parent company, POWDR, does not sell your personal information to third parties. POWDR may share your personal information with our parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates (“POWDR Companies”). Subject to applicable legal restrictions, the POWDR Companies may share your personal information with each other to make sure your experience is as seamless as possible, and you have the full benefit of what POWDR has to offer. See our full Privacy Policy here.
We use certain tools to capture data related to when a guest opens our e-mail messages, clicks on any links or banners it contains, and/or makes purchases. This provides us with a better understanding of how our guests interact with our communications and allows us to better tailor content and target audiences going forward.
Collecting additional personal information, such as your age or location, allows us to better match your email address to any pre-existing profile we may have for you in our system. This ensures we are emailing the most up-to-date address on file (i.e. not attempting to also send to an email address that no longer exists) and prevents the creation of duplicate profiles.
We also have a legitimate interest in understanding our users so that we can provide you with the most tailored promotions, services, and content based on your demographic. Please note that we do not email any guests who are under the age of 18.
