Resort Policies & Safety

TAKE CARE AND BE 360 AWARE!

Mt. Bachelor offers over 4,300 acres of thrilling terrain for everyone to enjoy, but it also presents dangers that need to be considered before anyone gets on a lift. It is imperative that skiers and riders understand and follow the rules that are presented below so that their stay is injury free. Obeying signage, skiing or biking with a buddy or group, and knowing your limits will all help minimize risks and prevent incidents.

SKI PATROL

Mt. Bachelor employs a robust team of professional patrollers. Pro Patrollers are trained in avalanche safety, use of explosives, rope rescue, toboggan handling wilderness response and more. After storms, our Pro Patrol unit conducts avalanche control and are the communication liaisons in the event of an operational irregularity. Most of our Pro Patrollers are EMTs. For on-mountain emergencies call ski patrol at 541-693-0911.
