This past weekend, Mt. Bachelor hosted its fifth annual Redline Rally, where roughly 50 invited riders gathered to throw down their best tricks in front of local media and dozens of excited spectators. It was a perfect day packed with camaraderie, competition, and pure stoke.
The event spotlighted three judged features, each showcasing a different side of freeride creativity:
- Leeway Jump – Best Whip
- Red Road 3 Pack – Best Flow/Style
- Moon Booter – Best Trick
With youth, local riders, and the pro’s coming together for this jam-style competition, the whole scene was buzzing.
Some highlights included Carson Storch’s 360 off the paver drop, Jaclyn Walles’s sui-no-hander on the Moon Booter, and the grom party train of no-foot cancans.
Between laps, riders and spectators fueled up with free Red Bulls and Gatorades handed out by our events crew while a DJ kept the energy high spinning upbeat tracks at the Moon Booter. The vibe was as big as the airs being thrown.
From deep whips to manuals, bar spins, and backflips, this year’s competition once again proved why Redline Rally is Central Oregon’s premier downhill jump event.
At the end of the day, the top riders walked away with trophies hand-built by local fabricator Austin Bogue, new tires, and bright red Yeti Tundra coolers.
Thanks to all the riders, spectators, and partners who made it a day to remember. We’re already counting down the days until the next one.
