Meet Carol Carson, best known as Ski Mum –a local Bend ski enthusiast, fun-loving cheerleader, and one of the liveliest souls at Mt. Bachelor.
She first earned her “SkiMum” moniker back when her kids were three and five years old. She’d get them off to pre-school in the morning and rally up to Bachelor for six laps on the Northwest Chair, and then send it back down to pick them up and nurture them for the other 20-plus hours of the day.
Nowadays her kids are old enough to make it to the mountain on their own. But needless to say, SkiMum, one of Bachelor’s brightest personalities, knows how to make the most out of every day.
